Everyone has felt the effects of these challenging economic times this year, including non-profit organizations.  In an effort to continue to raise funds, the Canadian Spinal Research Organization (CSRO) joined forces with Chai Lifeline Canada on August 31, 2009 at the Charities Funding Together Golf Tournament. Played at the exclusive Thornhill Golf & Country Club in Thornhill, ON, the event presented the opportunity for charities to unite to raise proceeds for their respective organizations.

Chai Lifeline Canada is a not for profit organization dedicated to helping Canadian children suffering from serious illness as well as their family members. The organization is passionately devoted to alleviating the burden of those facing medical challenge. Chai Lifeline Canada’s extensive network of free programs and services is designed to help every member of the family cope during this time of crisis.

Special guests included MC Rob Faulds of the FAN 590 radio station and Lorne Rubenstein, renowned golf author and columnist. The CSRO would like to thank Chai Lifeline Canada’s Development Officer, Craig Fried for the opportunity to partner with such a great cause!
