Toronto, ON – February 3, 2010 - After 20 years of development, the Canadian Spinal Research Organization (CSRO) and Acorda Therapeutics announced in late January 2010, marketing approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for AMPYRA™ (generic name dalfampridine), an oral treatment to improve walking in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS).
